the beaches
Saunton beach is 3 miles of flat sand backed by massive sand dunes. It is an excellent surfing beach and ideal for beginners and the more experienced of all water sports. Manned with lifeguards. You can get away from the crowds by just walking further along the beach. Shop & toilets at car park end of beach (open in season). There is also a Bistro serving evening meals (in season) in the car park.
Once voted the 7th nicest beach in the world!
2 miles from Norboro is Croyde Bay another sandy beach and an ideal surfing spot.
